The Reimo 3000 system is probably one of the most innovative products to be installed in your conversion, it allows huge flexibility in not only seating but load carrying capacity thanks to its sliding rail setup, thanks to its neat design it is easy to operate also, but here are a few points.
How to Operate a Reimo Variotech 3000 Sliding Seat/Bed System.
Moving the Reimo
Firstly – ensure that all doors, drawers and fridge in the unit are closed, there is a tight tolerance between the bed and these so it is worth checking to avoid accidental contact.
The Reimo has 2x levers, these activate the anti rattle system which clamps the setup down, to move the bed pull these levers up, this will disengage them.
From here the large chrome central handle can be lifted, this will retract the locking pins allowing the bed to move, once the locking pins have been disengaged, the handle can then be released, the pins will then lock into the next available locating point within the rails.
SWB Transporters have 5x locking points whereas LWB have 7x.
When the Reimo is in the desired position the anti rattle levers can be pushed back in locking the system down.
Making the Bed
Thanks to good design this is very simple, firstly slide the Reimo into the desired position within the van, as detailed above.
Either side of the seat base cushion there are 2x levers, these will allow the base section of the seat to fold forwards.
The backrest section of the seat will now fold down (once released from pulling the lever on the right)
Finally the rear section can fold forwards completing the bed.
We will be following this up with a video demonstration soon!
